Exercise increases creativity

Exercise increases mental creativity according to a recent report from Hannah Steinberg, a professor of psychology at Middlesex University in England. (British Journal of Sports Medicine 31:240-5, 1997) Exercise is known to relieve stress, to fight depression and anxiety, to reduce blood clotting inside blood vessels, to retard onset of Alzheimer’s disease, to improve function in Parkinson’s disease, and innumerable other benefits, including improvement in self-esteem.
